Furthermore, it automatically optimizes the subtitle timing and increases the speed of the speech for frames with longer text. Providing support for more than fifty languages, PixVis VideoDubber features four different voices that you can choose from. Support for Windows SAPi and Google’s TTS Both can be previewed within the main window. You are prompted to load the video to process and import the desired subtitle file. Thanks to the intuitive and well-organized interface, working with the application to create dubbed audio is a breeze. Create audio dubbing out of a subtitle fileĪs its name implies, PixVis VideoDubber is a dedicated application specifically designed for video dubbing. It is capable of converting any subtitle file into an audio dubbing and provides support for Windows SAPI and Google Textt-to-Speech, allowing you to create videos with natural-sounding speech in just a few minutes.Īll you need when using PixVis VideoDubber is a subtitle file. Prrofessional video editors usually come with features that allow video dubbing and audio recording, but there are also smaller tools, such as PixVis VideoDubber that can help you achieve the same with a less complicated feature set. To make up the lack of real-world datasets, we also construct a real-world test set collected from films to provide comprehensive evaluations on the video dubbing task. While video dubbing is mostly a means of translating foreign-language films into the native language of the target audience, you can also use it to simply add a new narration, speech, dialogue or other sounds to the soundtrack of an existing video. We design experiments on four language directions (German -> English, Spanish -> English, Chinese English), and the results show that the proposed method achieves better length control ability on the generated speech than baseline methods. Specifically, we control the speech length of generated sentence by guiding the prediction of each word with the duration information, including the speech duration of itself as well as how much duration is left for the remaining words. In this paper, we propose a machine translation system tailored for the task of video dubbing, which directly considers the speech duration of each token in translation, to match the length of source and target speech. Previous works usually control the number of words or characters generated by the machine translation model to be similar to the source sentence, without considering the isochronicity of speech as the speech duration of words/characters in different languages varies. To ensure the translated speech to be well aligned with the corresponding video, the length/duration of the translated speech should be as close as possible to that of the original speech, which requires strict length control.
